The following is the registration information from the 2019 Conference in Montreal. This page will be updated for the 2020 Conference as soon as the information becomes available.

*In order to benefit from the “members rate”, you need to be a member in good standing at the time of the conference.

One Day Fees
Wednesday* or Thursday**               $365                         $465
*Wednesday will include an opening plenary session presented in French with simultaneous interpretation and four French Education Sessions.
**Thursday evening banquet ticket not included. Social activities are extra.

Registration Discounts
A 10% discount on registration fees is provided to Assante advisors and 2019 conference speakers.
AFP Québec members are also entitled to a discount on Conference fees.

Higher Education Day @ McGill Executive Institute
Off-site – Tuesday, April 9, 8:30 – 5:00
This day-long session is for planned giving professionals who work in higher education. It will feature guest speakers, round table discussions and many opportunities to exchange best practices and challenges with our colleagues from across the country. Please note that space will be limited.

Not included: Transportation (20 minute walk from the hotel)

Price: $17.70 (plus HST)


Full Conference registration includes:

  • all plenary and education sessions
  • continental breakfast and lunch Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
  • Wednesday Opening Reception; CAGP Banquet Thursday
  • pre- and post-conference web access to all education presentations (as released for inclusion)

Payment
Please make your cheque payable to Canadian Association of Gift Planners. Payment may also be made by Visa or Mastercard®. GST & QST are not included in fees.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Notice of all cancellations must be received in writing. Before March 15, 2019, if you must cancel your registration, three options are available:

1) Your registration may be carried forward for you to attend the 2020 conference (subject to a $250.00 administration fee)
2) Your registration fees may be refunded (less a $250.00 administration fee)
3) Your registration may be transferred to a colleague within your organization at any time (less a $75 administration fee)

As of March 15, 2019, there will be no refunds or carry-forwards. No-shows forfeit the full registration fee.


General Information

Dress Code
Dress is business casual for the conference. Thursday night’s banquet is business attire.

Education Credits
Education sessions are eligible for education credits for Advocis, FPSC and CFRE. Contact the CAGP National Office by email at education@cagp-acpdp.org for further information.

Food Allergies
Please let us know if you have a severe allergy that requires special attention. However, we cannot guarantee that no cross contamination has taken place in the special preparation of an allergy free alternate meal. CAGP may not be able to accommodate all dietary preferences.

Session Handouts and Speaker Presentations Online
Speaker handouts are available pre- and post-conference on the CAGP website if provided by speakers. Access is password protected and registered delegates will receive a password once presentations become available.

Delegates may print handouts prior to the conference from the CAGP website and will be able to print handouts at the conference.

Bursary Support
Bursaries are available to cover the cost of conference registration. Please visit the Bursary web page to read the bursary guidelines.  Applications will be accepted beginning in December 2018 and must be received by February 4, 2019.
