Dinner Party / Fireside Chat with the Ottawa Hospital Foundation
Wednesday, April 3 6:30 p.m.
The WCPD Foundation invites delegates for an evening reception at the home of their President & CEO, Peter Nicholson. Cocktails, live music and a delicious spread of food will be followed by a Fireside Chat on the most historic fundraising project in the history of our nation’s capital.
In 2023, the Ottawa Hospital officially broke ground on its new campus. This $2.5 billion project is a collaboration with the provincial government, with the Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s fundraising goal being $500 million, an unprecedented figure for the city.
In this fireside chat, the Foundation’s CEO, Tim Kluke, will be joined by major donors to discuss the challenges, successes, insights and pitfalls of this historic campaign.

National Gallery of Canada
Friday, April 5 2:30 – 5:00 p.m.
The National Gallery of Canada opened to the public in 1988, and this magnificent building was designed by renowned architect Moshe Safdie. Discover The Gallery’s collection and special exhibitions that span over 12,000 square metres of exhibition space, and is the permanent home of the world’s most comprehensive collection of Canadian art. Take the afternoon to explore one of the most extraordinary collections of art from across Canada and around the world. A one-hour guided tour will be arranged for our group.
The National Gallery of Canada is a short 12 minute walk from the Westin Ottawa hotel. Our group will meet in the lobby at 2:30pm to walk together over to the Gallery. Please note that the Gallery closes at 5:00pm.
